Chalk painted pots for the "WHITE EVENT"

I've been having a ball with Annie Sloan's Old White Chalk paint, so I wanted to share a quick preview of some little seedling pots that I've whipped into shape with Annie's paint.

I just sort of painted them haphazardly, letting some of the vintage terra cotta peek through..

I then added some rub on transfers to embellish them....

What do you think?  Wouldn't they be sweet filled with a tiny seedling plant or maybe with chunky little candles on the porch?
And of course you know I love clocks and "time" so they wouldn't be complete without a few of those...
I have quite a few different ones, not sure if they're all showing  in these pics

Anyway, this is all part of getting ready for the second annual WHITE EVENT
SHOW at the Wrentham Country Store. Show dates are April 14th and 15th. It promises to be even larger than last year.

For those of you who aren't familiar, a huge tent is rented and the shop girls fill it to the brim with whites, neutral tones, silver, rusty...you get the picture. All fresh stock.  Inside the store, the shop girls will also be "whitening" their spaces.

Although I won't be in the tent display this year due to life transitions and timing, I will be bringing as much white into my space as possible for the weekend.  Hence...the paintbrush....

My little seedling pots will find their way there, as well as other treasures that are getting a face lift.

Ok...it's back to the drawing board....I mean "painting board" for me.  Hope to see you at the Event.
