Today I have a bit of a smorgasbord of a post, so I hope you'll indulge me in my myriad of thoughts.
First, I wanted to post a few recent shots of my space at the WCS. Isn't that Quilt Classes sign adorable? I snagged that at a sale from an antiques dealer~Here's another angleAnd yet another...My little handmade gift bags peeking out from a drawer....Love A Shabby Moment in Timehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10897570138567789130noreply@blogger.com7tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8130997131725473747.post-39913547076945219922012-05-09T15:20:00.009-04:002012-05-10T21:48:03.299-04:00Whites~ Chippy, Inspiration, and BloomingHappy White Wednesday everyone! The first "white" that I wanted to show today is a pic of that lovely chippy cupboard I told you about in my last post...you know...the one I purchased from the "WHITE EVENT"
Dreamy, isn't it? I haven't decided what to put inside her yet. For now I've placed a couple things on top...two vintage frames, a chalk painted pot.....

I of course, am the last of the Mohicans to post pics and blog about this incredible show, but alas...better late than never!
I'll take you on a tour of some of the displays inside the tent. Not all of the shop girls participated in the tent (sadly I was one of them), but we all whitened our spacesA Shabby Moment in Timehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10897570138567789130noreply@blogger.com11tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8130997131725473747.post-13811345633089085542012-04-11T22:40:00.009-04:002012-05-03T18:37:12.303-04:00A little peek before the "SHOW"I hope you're not tired of seeing chalk painted pots, since I created more for the "At Home with White" Show (this coming weekend)
These one's are larger than the seedling pots in my last post so I wanted to do something different.
I'm happy with the way they came out, shabby with just enough chic
I also painted this little chest which has a wooden rod on the inside...perfect for A Shabby Moment in Timehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10897570138567789130noreply@blogger.com16tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8130997131725473747.post-70531226645431428972012-04-06T19:52:00.000-04:002012-04-06T19:52:40.645-04:00Chalk painted pots for the "WHITE EVENT"I've been having a ball with Annie Sloan's Old White Chalk paint, so I wanted to share a quick preview of some little seedling pots that I've whipped into shape with Annie's paint.
I just sort of painted them haphazardly, letting some of the vintage terra cotta peek through..
I then added some rub on transfers to embellish them....
What do you think? Wouldn't they be sweet filled A Shabby Moment in Timehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10897570138567789130noreply@blogger.com21tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8130997131725473747.post-46269019356361071812012-04-03T19:54:00.010-04:002012-04-03T20:02:46.085-04:00White "PINTEREST" WednesdayThis week for White Wednesday, I'm showcasing just a few of my favorite "Whites" from my PINTEREST Boards.
