Whites, Vintage, and Shop Girls

Happy Wednesday everyone!  Today I have a bit of a smorgasbord of a post, so I hope you'll indulge me in my myriad of thoughts.

First, I wanted to post a few recent shots of my space at the WCS.  Isn't that Quilt Classes sign adorable? I snagged that at a sale from an antiques dealer~
Here's another angle
And yet another...
My little handmade gift bags peeking out from a drawer....
Love Love Love this vintage china set
Sometimes a picture just doesn't capture the beauty of a piece, and this is one of those times.  It's an old sand loom I picked up at a sale. It's huge with grey weathered wood and a chunky handle on the top.  Would be perfect for a wall display~
This next piece is over the top gorgeous and unique. I purchased this from the same dealer that sold me the Quilt Classes sign.  Take a look...
It's a huge rusty antique Fleur de lis gate of some sort.  It's heavy and about 7-8 feet long I think...

I put this in the shop, but I think I may have sellers remorse.  If it doesn't sell in a few days, I may have to scoop it up and bring it home. :)

This would be perfect just about anywhere... in a garden, as a wall display, headboard for a bed, on a porch, or just leaning up against a wall.  It's a fantastic find...and I think I'm talking myself into keeping it...  lol
And now...as promised,

Here a few shots of some the Shop Girls that I took last month at our WHITE EVENT.
Not all of them are represented, since some were not there or camera shy.

Here we have the lovely Maureen, Mary, and Jeannie

Next, here is Jeanine and Nancy A.

This is our fun lovin' Deb...as you can see she's totally enjoying herself

This is Patricia... I actually got to meet her for the first time at the White Event, since our work schedules at the store don't mesh. She's lovely and it was wonderful chatting with her.
Here is a shot of Nancy J. in her spot at the event. Love that hat Nancy!

Here is Sandi snapping a pic of me as I take one of her.  I think this will be an annual tradition for us now, right Sandi?

Mary Ellen, Shop owner.  She works hard all year long to bring the WCS to new levels of greatness.

Here's Pam working hard at the counter.  She also happens to be my cousin. You can find her wares in the same room as mine in the back.

This is Louise! She did one fantastic job in the tent at the event.  She's the one I purchased that wonderful chippy cupboard from that you see in my last post.
And lastly, here's a group shot of a few of us on the Sunday of the event. From left to right: Deb, Karen K., Me, Pam, Mary, Mary Ellen, Sandi, and Maureen
Wishing you a wonderful day, filled with all the things you love most~

Okay, now I want to get in the car and drive right back there. There's so much to love in your booth and all over that store! I truly think Michelle and I could have spent 3 more hours there if it weren't for us needing to eat. :)
I don't blame you for having 2nd thoughts on that fleur-de-lis gate. If it's still there, it just may be meant for YOU!
I love seeing all you ladies in the photos - you did a wonderful job!

Your little shop looks gorgeous. The beautiful rusty gate needs to go back home with you, I think it would look amazing as a memory board or inspiration board using wooden pegs to hold those pictures with...

I love that fleur de lis gate. I'll bet it has already sold because I have the perfect spot for it. I need to go back and see where you are located. What a great shop.
