Here's a peek at some of the treasures currently for sale at my little space in the Wrentham Country Store. The displays are always changing as things sell, so the look is always different. I have such fun with it. It's more than a job or a hobby, it's a PASSION! I was treasure hunting today and found some awesome things that will soon find their way into my little corner at WCS. A beautiful shabby blue dresser, a glass and iron tea/or garden cart, an antique framed tapestry, some cast iron finials, awesome night stands (that just need a coat of shabby white paint) with original barbola or gesso on the front, a vintage shabbylicious parasol, and some other small items. Look for them in the coming weeks. Check out these little vintage ladies gloves...sooo shabby sweet and garden style... Look at this lovely I purchased for myself! It's a vintage chippy french wire collapsible laundry basket straight from the Paris Flea Market. These are getting harder and harder to find. I'm not sure where it's going to fit though, since it's quite large. I may find a spot for it on my porch (aka outdoor living space)...maybe with some flowers in it. If I had the room inside, I could just see it filled with spare pillows and throws, or maybe in the bath filled with towels. Any ideas ladies? I'm open to suggestions. As much as I love it, it may just find it's way into my space at the store if it proves too big for my dwelling. Waaaaahhhh!!!
Welcome to my blog ~ I'm a Christian who loves life, my family, friends, and of course the Lord Jesus Christ. I have three handsome sons and six gorgeous grandchildren. In my free time, I'm passionate about decorating, crafting, and refurbishing which leads me to the "thrill of the hunt" at fleamarkets, auctions, and tag sales. I love a mix of shabby chic, french, and cottage style with an emphasis on worn, faded, and chippy. I rent space in a local shop to sell some of the treasures that can't possibly fit in my home. I'm so glad you stopped by...let's share a "shabby moment in time" together!
